Leon Angel — Licensed Players’ Agent

One of the first agents in the UK to be licensed by the FA, Leon is also a Chartered Accountant as well as the chairman of Base. His financial expertise as an accountant also translates easily into the football world where figures and contracts are a key element of a player’s professional life.

Frank Trimboli — Licensed Players’ Agent

Frank previously worked in Finance before becoming an agent. He is also bilingual, speaking fluent Italian. He brings to Base a plethora of contacts and combined with his background in Finance Frank heads up the Base team as M.D.

Gary Porter — Licensed Players’ Agent

Gary played for Watford FC for 15 years, attaining 12 England U21 caps before retiring in 1999. Gary’s extensive contacts from his playing career brings to the team an unrivalled level of knowledge “from the inside”.

Eric Walters — Licensed Players’ Agent

Eric played for three years with Watford and Leyton Orient. He then worked for nine years in the industry before joining the team at Base, bringing with him his network of contacts and keen eye for spotting young talent.

Stephen Hughes — Licensed Players’ Agent

A part of Base since 1998, Stephen has strong links with the Northern Ireland National Team. He worked as a scout for Carlisle between 1994–1998 and assisted Terry Venables in setting up his Soccer camps both in the UK and America. Based in the North of England, he brings to the team a set of valuable contacts to complement the rest of the team.

Anthony McFarlane — Licensed Players’ Agent

Anthony’s promising career as a player after seven years at West Ham was cut short following a serious injury in 1998. Undeterred, Anthony’s ability to translate what he learned as a player on the field to his current role managing players has been invaluable.

David Baldwin — Licensed Players’ Agent

David left University as a journalism graduate and worked as a sports reporter for four years. He moved on to run his own sports agency for three years before joining the Base team. David brings an extensive range of contacts from around the world of football and a media advisory capacity to his players.

Federico Massai — Licensed Players’ Agent

Federico has been licensed in Italy since 1998. He speaks Italian, Spanish and English. Based in Spain, but working all around Europe Federico has extensive contacts in Europe.

Nicolo Arcuri — Licensed Players' Agent

Nic joined us from Brazil where his background was in Marketing, working for Corinthians, one of the biggest clubs in the country. He joined forces with Base in order to help move Gilberto Da Silva to Arsenal and Nic is now our permanent man in Brazil.

Stefano Castagna — Licensed Players’ Agent

Stefano graduated in Sport economy in Rome before become a licenced agent and was marketing manager at Lotto Sport Italia. Stefano is fluent in German, English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Italian.

Mark Rankine —Football Consultant

Mark joined Base Soccer in 2006 after retiring from Professional Football. He was a stalwart at Preston North End from 1996 to 2003, and made a total of over 700 league and cup appearances during his long career. Mark brings a wealth of experience to our team.

Brad Warner — Football Consultant

Brad joined the Base Soccer Team in 2004. His background in business brought him into football where he worked for another major London based agency for two years before joining Base.

Luca Pagani — Football Consultant

Luca joined us at the beginning of 2006 coming from a background of sports insurance and private banking. He brings many contacts for scouting and selecting talent in Africa. Luca speaks fuent Italian, English and basic French.

Sakis Tzikas — Football Consultant

After playing at Greek club PAOK FC, Sakis moved to the UK in 1995 to study Sports Sciences and Business Studies at Brunel University, gaining a BSC (Hons). He is a qualified football coach and speaks fluent Greek, English and basic Spanish and brings his contacts in Greece to our team.

Lee Robinson — Football Consultant

Lee joins the company having been Academy Director at Cardiff City FC and Head of Sports Science at West Bromwich Albion FC. A former Physical Education teacher, Lee holds a Sports Science and Human Movement degree, Post Graduate certificate in Education, UEFA A Coaching Licence and Academy Managers Licence.

Doug Livermore — Football Consultant

After playing professional football for Liverpool, Norwich, Cardiff and Chester, Doug coached and managed at Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool, Norwich, Cardiff, Swansea and the Wales National Team.  He brings a wealth of footballing experience, knowledge and contacts to the team.

Joel Pannick — Football Consultant

Joel joined the Base team in November 2009, primarily to assist with matters relating to our increasingly expanding South American department. After graduating from the University of Nottingham in July 2008 with an Honours degree in Political Science, Joel moved to Buenos Aires to study Spanish and then spent a number of months studying Portuguese in Rio de Janeiro before returning to the UK to join the company.

Anthony Lennon — Football Consultant

Former Manchester United Youth player and Young Professional with Leeds United, Anthony brings a great footballing knowledge to the team. Anthony is also a UEFA 'B' qualified coach.

Leon Anderson— Football Consultant

Leon has used more than ten years' experience in youth football to develop his passion for helping talented young players, both in a coaching and mentoring capacity. In 2008, Leon, with his BA honours in marketing and passion for football, decided to create his own successful football academy which has already helped to place more than thirty players at professional clubs.

Virginia Dunne — Operations Manager

Virginia has been with Base since 2002 supervising all the contractual administration and liasing with the clubs and the Football Association. Virginia manages the office as well as the team at Base.

Lucy Dunne — Client Liaison 

Lucy joined Base in early 2007 and as well as assisting with day to day operations, is on hand to support the agents with the players' off the pitch requirements.
